This is a bit out of the blue1—more online that off—but I wanted to give a shout-out to Amill who is a local YouTuber2 with a channel dedicated to trains in the United States. Whether it’s a journey on the railroad, or checking out the latest Acela and Amtrak models, his channel will keep busy!

Without getting into any details3, this shout-out is also a thank you for giving me the nudge I needed to steel myself and ask someone one of the toughest, non-academic questions know to myself…

…and more importantly, congrats! Godspeed as you begin a dream career!

(As for everyone else reading this: Go and subscribe to his YouTube channel already…especially if you like trains!)

  3. Because I like to keep my work and private life as separate as I can. ↩︎
